Job Summary
The HR Manager will oversee recruitment, employee relations, training, and benefits administration for our mining project in Shidan, Somalia. This role is key to ensuring that HASM attracts and retains top talent in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment and hiring processes.
- Oversee employee onboarding, training, and development.
- Administer employee benefits and manage payroll processes.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and local labor regulations.
- Handle employee relations and performance management issues.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience within the mining industry, preferably in East Africa.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
