Horizon Allied Services Mining is a key player in the gold trading sector in Somalia, particularly in the extraction of alluvial gold. To support our operations in Shidan, we are seeking reliable Drivers to ensure the safe and timely transportation of goods and personnel.
Job Summary
The Driver will be responsible for transporting passengers and goods, performing routine maintenance checks, and adhering to schedules and safety regulations. This role is vital to our mining operations in Shidan, Somalia.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers and goods to various destinations.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles.
- Assist with loading and unloading of cargo.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery records.
- Provide courteous and professional service to passengers or clients.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety standards.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience, preferably within the mining industry or similar sectors in East Africa.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
